S4 EP72 We're NOT Empty Nesters, We're FREE Birds, Featuring Laurie and Lisa
Now is OUR time! We drop off our last kids at college, and suddenly we all have wide open spaces to try new things, tackle new goals, form new relationships and make new mistakes. We are actually much more in concert with our kids than ever. However, this second chapter can be daunting. Alas, we are shifting paradigms from "empty nesting," into feeling somewhat liberated. It's our time to be the spectators in our adult children's lives, and you can better believe they are watching us too! We are partners in a new dance, and we both want to see one another happy and thriving! Lisa and Laurie give their thoughts on this new phase of life, and dish on their personal goals they wish to embrace and tackle. Let's Do This!
